The Trauma of Suppressed Emotions

“Unresolved suppressed emotions will eventually cause your world to crash.”

Suppressing emotions builds up over time and when one is triggered, one can cause internal and external chaos. When the subconscious mind can no longer contain them, these traumas can erupt like shaking a soda—overwhelming and intense. This flood of emotions can overwhelm the mental body, causing it to leak into the emotional and physical bodies. The emotional body, unable to process past emotions, generates new ones that spill over into other areas. This disruption can take the mental and emotional bodies offline, pushing trauma into the shadow and ego, eventually affecting the physical body. This manifests as physical ailments like pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues, and more, turning into disease within the physical body.

Every person in the world has, or will, experience trauma in one way or another. Trauma wears many faces from addiction and abuse to spiritual awakening, death and more. Like a fingerprint, trauma is unique to each person, shaping us in deeply personal ways. Suppressed emotions often accompany trauma, unless addressed, they can linger and affect one profoundly. Trauma and suppressed emotions are intertwined.

Disease in the physical body will cause one’s vibration to slip down into the lower 4 quadrants of hate, anger, fear, and guilt. These are all low vibrating energies. This causes negative energy to be stored in the lower three chakras. When this happens, the chakras can no longer spin. Now there is an energetic block in one’s chakras hindering the flow of life force energy.

The root chakra which is directly related to survival, material world, and safety, when blocked it manifests chronic fear, instability, and a disconnect from one’s physical reality. The sacral chakra which governs sexuality, relationships, and creativity refers to the flow of one’s emotions of guilt and shame that blocks it. The solar plexus is one’s personal power, identity, and self-esteem, when it’s not working correctly it guides one in power, control, status, and recognition. Once the lower three chakras are blocked and one’s life force flow slows, one becomes unaligned leading to more chaos in the bodies.

Once the trauma is healed in the body, the chakras begin to spin again. The inner bodies will realign, and one will begin to ascend. One will be able to manifest their desires and be at peace. One’s frequency will rise; however, if one doesn’t clear and release the trauma one won’t be able to attract these things to an already worn-out system. This is a journey and seeking support along the way is a sign of strength. During one’s healing journey remember to be kind to self. The trauma wasn’t built up overnight, and it won’t go away overnight. If one is ready to take the next step in one’s healing journey, I offer Empowerment Sessions tailored to help you navigate and overcome trauma, including its most challenging aspects.

Trauma is like weeds in a garden. If left unattended, the weeds can take over and choke the healthy plants and preventing them from thriving. Just as a gardner must regularly tend to the garden, pulling out weeds and nurturing the plants, one needs to address one’s emotional wounds and nurture one’s well-being. This helps one grow and flourish, leading to a healthier, more balanced life.
